Let’s talk about PIVOTS.
To pivot means to turn. Companies do this often when they turn from all their previous efforts and work toward something else. This doesn't mean that the previous efforts were wasted or even misdirected—it simply means that they’ve decided that a change in direction would be more fruitful than staying on the same course.
Pivoting is a good thing.
I want to let you know that I’m making a pivot in my coaching. It’s not a big one, but it is more specific, and I think it will help more men and Christian leaders.
This pivot comes after seeking some godly counsel and reflecting on where I’ve come from and who I’ve been blessed to help lately.
My call to coaching has been an important part of my journey. I have always been interested in personal growth and transformation. My own life purpose is to be a catalyst of transformation. After going through some personal and professional failures and successfully rebounding, I was led to create a coaching practice to help others rebound. I’ve watched (and have even been surprised by) the growth of my coaching opportunities over the past few years.
I’ve seen that those most attracted to what I offer have been Christian ministry leaders (mostly men) who have had a personal crisis that is causing them to reconsider and reassess their life and ministry. Some of these leaders have been in a pit of despair and wanted the pain to stop. Others have just been so burned out that they needed to rethink their lives and the purpose of their ministry. I’ve been blessed to help these courageous leaders.
So, moving forward, here’s the focus of my coaching ministry: “I help burned-out Christian ministry leaders discover their next assignment in life.” The program I have created lets you get out of your pain and into a place of promise in 90 days.
Now this is very specific, so let me draw this out. By burned-out, I mean two things. First, these leaders are in so much pain because of ministry that they have to rethink their lives and calling and become someone different ASAP. Secondly, these burned-out leaders may just be exhausted by all the recent changes in ministry and simply need to breathe and rethink their ministry and mission. They don’t want to leave the ministry. They just need to reimagine it for the future.
This coaching will be for Christian ministry leaders. That’s a big group and includes pastors, missionaries, bi-vocational, non-profits, denominational leadership, and even Christian business leaders – you get the idea.
Discover their next assignment in life: These leaders ask what’s next. And they want to be crystal clear on what’s next and the steps to get there.
You’ll see the changes in the coming days, but here’s what you can expect from me. Whether you’re just a fan of my content, you are a current client, or you want to reach out – I will talk about…
